Summer shoes to have in your beach bag.
I must admit I am not a shoe person. I typically find one good pair that I love and I stick with it for a while. I also admit that I have an addiction to neutral color shoes. Almost every pair I own is some shade of nude or blush, and every so often I will toss in a black pair to mix it up. This however doesn't mean that I don't have some great suggestions for summer/ waterproof options that are great to toss in your beach or pool bag and that are available in a variety of styles and colors. So here goes my top 4 shoes for this summer.
1. The Parma Moses Sandal by Freedom Moses.
These are similar to the Birkenstock sandal. Completely waterproof and available in a variety of colors and patterns. I wear these daily to the pool, running errands, and even doing yard work. (Ok, maybe while out in the yard because my husband will argue that I do not do yard work, haha). Anyway, they are great all around. Available in only whole sizes, I suggest going up a half size if in between.
2. Sunny Single Band Jelly Platform Sandal by Lemon Jellies.
If you like a little bit of height, this shoe is for you. A slight platform design gives you the wedge feel in a waterproof pool shoe. However this style can definitely be worn with cute jeans or a sundress as well. Available in a variety of colors, an overall great option for your pool bag. Some colors and styles are on sale right now so a quick google search can lead you to the best deals.
3. Ellie Sandal by Ipanema
When it comes to Ipanema, you can't go wrong. They have so many great styles and colors available of waterproof sandals that you can definitely find anything that fits your style. I wear mine on the beach and out to dinner. The Pearl T-strap style has been a very poplar style this summer as well as the Ellie featured above. Ipanema also makes precious sandals for girls so you can order your little one a pair as well.
Amazon, Bloomingdales, Nordstrom
4. Georgica Jelly by Jack Rogers
If you love a flip flop style but want something that can be dressed up or down, this one is for you. I personally own the black and I wear these with swimwear as well as shorts and sundresses. These are comfortable to walk around in all day so are great for a day trip or shopping. This style is a classic that will remain timeless and never go out of style.
Happy shoe shopping friends, I hope you find these suggestions helpful. Please let me know if you own any of the above options or if you try them out based on this post. I would love to hear your suggestions on other summer shoes you recommend as well. Please feel free to leave a comment or message!
